Contractions ??

What do they feel like? When do you know your having them???

In the beginning, they feel like period cramps and they intensify. In active labor, the bad ones will make you stop dead in your tracks and bend over. You'll know when it's getting close because you'll also feel pressure like you need to poop. Mine were horrible because I was induced. I got an epidural because of being induced and it didn't help.

That's all in afraid of everyone says labor and contractions hurt. Like I'm so little and tiny.  I feel like I'm gonna probably die. :( I'm just nervous for when the time comes!

They feel horrible!  Lol. In the beginning it just feels like period cramps. As they progress and get more intense the pain really amplifies. I was screaming so loud by the end. I didn't have pain meds. It feels like someone is squishing your insides so tight and almost feels like a knife. At least for me it did. You will definitely know when you have them. If you're ok with meds, get them!  I had a spinal block at 10cm because they found out my baby was breech and I had to have an emergency c-section. After I got that, I didn't feel anything but pressure when they took baby out.
