Baby Eli was born 4 days early!

Due 8-6-16 but born the 2nd! Was a very quick delivery, started having contractions at 5am but thought i just had to poop lol so I had diarrhea 4 times! Then i realized they werent just poop pains, by 530am they were 3 minutes apart, but they werent for an hour like my doctor said, so i waited til 630am, they were 2 minutes apart by then! So we were rushing to the hospital where they were between 1 and 2 min apart, and i was already 6 cm dilated!! I was in shock, it was happening so quick.. i thought i just had to poop and 2 hours later i was having a baby, we got to the hospital right in time. As soon as we got our room they had my epidural waiting. I got my epidural, was relaxed and started pushing and 45 minutes later Eli was born! He pooped inside so they had to have a nicu nurse evaluate him, but he was ok. He just got a bath an hour after we did skin to skin, because he was completely covered in poop. But all is well and hopefully we get to go home tomorrow! Good luck to all the august ladies!
