Did you get pregnant as soon as you quit trying?

I see it everywhere. Ladies saying "as soon as I quit trying, BAM. Pregnant." I also see ladies (including me) whom do NOT know how to quit. Lol I can't just "quit" trying. But want to know other experiences.

In 6 years I've tried and not tried. I've even completely given up all hope...many times. Nothing. The only time I got pregnant I was using opks every day for 3 months and for whatever reason the 3rd month of every day testing worked. This was at 5 years 1 month total of trying. We ultimately miscarried. It's been over a year since then and nothing. So not sure. For several months after the miscarriage we definitely didn't try and I definitely wasn't ready to be pregnant again and that still didn't make anything happen.

I didn't "quit" trying, I just quit thinking about wanting to be pregnant.  I still tried but altered my thoughts.

didn't quit trying exactly just stopped stressing so much about it. the only effort I put into tracking my cycle and when I was ovulating was when to expect my next period so I knew if I missed it or not.
