Shaving??

Question

So I've always had a huge problem with razor bumps and I can never find a way to keep smooth for longer than a day... I've tried acne lotion since it's supposed to help, I've tried men's calming aftershave, regular lotion, all that jazz. I always wonder if it's safe to put down around that area and always wonder if there's a better method... Help?

Omg I'm the same way! I always break out in rashes no matter what! Red bumps, itchy... I use new razors, shaving gel, conditioner, and nothing works :(

I waxed for the first time and it was wonderful!! It hurt a bit, but it was over in less than 5 minutes! No kidding! No bumps, no ingrown hairs! I did get a small allergic reaction but its going away already! I am allergic to wax though! Now I'm hair free for a month! If you live in SoCal, I can hook you up with my lady!

I've read using conditioner before shaving instead of shaving cream; patting dry with a cool cloth; then applying lotion/baby or coconut oil - just be careful, some types tear apart condoms. It works pretty well for me!
