Preston Jon Arrived!

Our little precious bundle arrived 8/2 at 37w+6d. He weighed in at 8 1/2 lbs and 21 inches. Unfortunately he was born with pneumonia and developed a tension pneumothorax yesterday. He had to be moved to a hospital across town with a higher level of NICU for him and was intubated last night. I know many families go through this and worse but it has really rocked us. We haven't gotten to have him with us since he's been here and I'm only 2 days post c-section and struggling to just recover. I will be discharged today and we can go see him. Please pray for his and my speedy recovery. We are already in love and so blessed to have him but this is certainly not the optimal situation. We know he's a fighter though and stand in faith with those around us that he will come through this!
