Vaccines for baby's?

With my first child I made sure she got all vaccines. But 10 years later not sure how I feel about them now? Feel like they may do more harm then good but then again my daughter is perfectly fine. 🤔 what is your opinion on vaccines???👇🏽👇🏽

I don't suggest getting advice here because some people talk like they're experts and not all info is 100% reliable. Just do your own research and look at both sides. Talk to a pediatrician who believes vaccines are all 100% necessary and one who doesn't think they all are.

I work with pediatric dr.
I really don't understand snow parents, they don't want to vaccinate there kids. There are more worse things out there then the vaccine. All my three kids have been given there vaccines and no problems. Or holding the vaccines until the kids are a little older , then we the nurses have to give the injection the kids are screaming of fear, hiding under chairs,or the exam table cuz there. Because parents want to come once a month for the shots instead of just getting them on schedule especially when school  starts

Wouldn't it be the opposite? 'My baby had all her vaccinations and she has major problems, now I'm worried about vaccinating this one'? Why would you worry, when you have a perfectly healthy child? And please stop believing they cause autism, that quack doctor was the worst thing to happen to healthy children.

Vaccines can definitely not do more harm than good. Have you seen a baby with whooping cough? Ever had polio? Measles? Mumps? No, because you and most people around you were probably vaccinated. I have never actually heard of a baby having a bad reaction to any vaccination? Have you? ( i ask that with sincerity, because if you have then I can understand your hesitation) But otherwise I'm just not sure why people think this all of a sudden? Not trying to be offensive at all, and I know you're not the only one who feels that way, but I honestly don't understand where this 'vaccinations are bad' theory comes from??

I'm a vaccine fence sitter. We will be doing a very delayed schedule and will only be getting some. I have seen the damage vaccines can do so it makes me leery, but I can also see the benefits of some.

You probably wouldn't feel that they do more harm than good if your child ended up with whooping cough(which is making a comeback thanks to anti-vaxxers). It can be fatal in infants and totally preventable.

I understand people are entitled to their opinions, but it bothers me SO MUCH when people don't bother to do their homework.

If you look up info, you'll find that the guy who published the paper regarding MMR vax and autism connections was barred from practicing again, had his license taken, and the paper was retracted. He fudged the data and used an extremely small data pool. Not sufficient for publishing a paper on something so important.

Also, thimerosol, the chemical in vaxes that people worry about hasn't been included in them since before 2000. Mercury as well.

How do I know all of this? Because I had to research and write a paper on it in college. That paper ended up being 15 pages long. I had to research and read and compare sources.

Whether a vax would give me child autism or not (which, again, if people would research vaxes and how autism itself works it would be clear there's not a significant connection...), I'd much rather have my child be autistic rather than suffering from polio, smallpox, or measles. Something I could have EASILY and CHEAPLY prevented.

I also refuse to endanger not only my child but other children simply because I "think" they might have side effects. Look up the concept of "community immunity." My child getting a vax will protect them and others around them from diseases that a non-vaxed child would bring in.

I'm sorry. I just don't get it. You should vax your child. End of story. There's no reason to subject your baby to horrible diseases because you "heard from somewhere" it might be bad...

Something to consider is what vaccines are protecting your child from, for example, polio. Research diseases and decide what you want to protect your child against. Vaccines are often seen as the greater good to protect everyone and keep these diseases from spreading but bottom line is whether or not  your child is susceptible to these diseases.
