Any pregnant lap-banders?

It's my first pregnancy and I'm curious to know the experience other moms to be has had with the band whilst preggers.

Answer

Not the band - but the fundus of my stomach is wrapped around my esophagus and it is similar (for severe GERD and hiatal hernia). I just had it redone in Sept, had a miscarriage 6 weeks later, got pregnant again, now due in Sept. It's been a rocky road with so many fresh incisions and previous scar tissue (3 other tummy surgeries) but I think my wrap has held up okay. Depending on how recent your band was, morning sickness/throwing up may be pretty hard on you... good luck!
