Lotions?

Does it matter if you get the cocoa butter lotion for stretch marks or will any lotion that improves the elasticity of your skin work? I absolutely hate the way the cocoa butter lotion smells and it makes me smell like that all day lol what works for everyone else?

Vitamin 3 or bio oil is good. So is coconut oil!!!

I was gutted when i got stretch marks at 42weeks :( soon as baby was born they looked 10times worst. Been putting cream on them for 7 weeks now still there but belly has gone alot better just put any body butter on.

If you have a Baby R Us/ Kids R Us by you,  they have lotions for stretch marks. A lot of people say they don't work but they're the same price as regular lotion just thicker for your stomach but mine worked no stretch marks at all so far and I'm 35+5.

I'm the same way! Try using anything with vitamin E and natural oils/shea butter. Most vitamin E based lotions have a nice calming smell which is less overwhelming than cocoa sented lotion! Also try "MAMA BEE" belly butter by Burt's Bees.

Stretch marks are mostly genetic. That being said, the best thing for your skin is for you to stay hydrated, and apply lotion as needed. If you like coco butter, use it. :)

I've been told shea butter is really good for stretch marks. It's also one of the lights scents for lotion so it's good for people who don't like strong smells. I buy mine from the body shop.
