Anxiety medication

So I just left my doctors office and was prescribed anxiety medication, I let her know we are ttc, she told me to stop for 3 months and then start. I'm so upset, I really wanted to keep trying, is anyone on anxiety meds and still got pregnant? Does it affect the baby? Or the process? I meant to ask her but didn't see her again, since they were drawing blood sample.
