Sciatica??

Question

Has anyone ever experienced or currently experiencing sciatica? My doctor said my uterus is sitting on my sciatic nerve, the largest nerve in the body, causing pain in my lower back, right side of my butt and down my leg. Hopefully it'll go away as the uterus grows and lifts! If so, what are you doing to treat it?

I'm also dealing with sciatica. It started a couple days before I found out I was pregnant and has been off and on since then. I'm currently almost 11 weeks. I'm hoping it won't bother me my entire pregnancy but I have a feeling it's just going to be one of those things.

I'm going to go to a chiropractor soon she specializes in pregnant women. Her whole business is for women pregnant women and children

Yup experienced this with only my 3rd baby. Never had it with my daughters. 
I didn't know what it was until I called the nurse crying!
Lasted 6 days. Mine got so bad I could barely walk, I was limping, and in so much pain. 
At one point I got up out of bed to go pee and fell on my knees because my legs gave out and it was excruciating pain. I crawled to the toilet so I didn't pee myself. 😢
It does go away. But *put your feet up as much as possible. For me it's hard to do with kids, and 2 busy jobs.
* Baths
* Ice packs/hot packs - your preference 
* lots of water to keep hydrated 
* Tylenol
* sleep with pillows btw your legs to level out the back and spine

Yesssssssssssss. Had problems before I was pregnant but now it's even worse. I don't know what to do about it. 😭

It only gets worse! In my case anyways. I started with an itchy/numb leg at 20 some weeks and now my leg feels like it's on fire all the time sitting or standing and when I walk it feels like my muscles are tearing away from my leg. It's horrible!!

Mine hurts but it isn't going down my leg...it's just a bad pain in my lower right back...and sometimes pops when I walk...weird lol

Yep,  had it with my first and now with this pregnancy too.  I'm in the beginning of the 3rd trimester and it has gotten so bad.  I look like a zombie when I try to go to the bathroom. My midwife gave me the number to a chiropractor that works with pregnant women. Hopefully it works.

I did and I've managed to grow used to the discomfort. Some days it would get so bad that my boyfriend had to help me out my pants on. It sucked. Heat compresses and Tylenol were the only things that helped me. I got a referral for physical therapy but I didn't want to go to it. I didn't think that it was completely necessary. My boyfriend bought a full body heated passage pad that I would sleep on at night.

Sciatica??
