Possible Period after D&C

I had a D&C on 7/27 and have had some bleeding (kind of like a period) the past three days. I'm wondering if it actually is my period or not? I had little to no bleeding the first few days after my surgery. Then all of the sudden I started bleeding like a normal period. No bad cramping or anything and it's not severely filling up pads. Please let me know what you guys think! Haven't been to the doctor yet. That's next week!
