What can my husband do if he has low sperm..?

We went to the dr together and made some exams to see if we could have bb and he came out low on sperm, my dream has been to become a mommy but it has not happend, dr told is yesterday to go to a specialist but the first visit is $250 and we cant afford that, it expensive to go to a specialist for fertility..:( im already 32 years old and we been trying for two years..:( i dont know what to do, i was going into a depression. Help me please if you know if there is an option out there for us, other than a specialist.. I will be happy to hear from all of you and give me hope again..
