Just had my baby and I'm breastfeeding. I have very very large areolas and my nipples are SO sore. While my areolas are a brown color my nipples are straight pink/red...they are so sore. She latches but I don't think my nipples are going far enough back in her mouth. Do I keep breastfeeding even though they hurt? The nurses gave me syringes to supplement with formula so that she's getting enough until my milk comes in, it's just so painful I want to give up and give her a bottle :( I feel like a failure and cried all morning :(,
