Tesco uk rant

I visit Tesco often. I'm physically disabled and use walking aids on and off depending on my pain.

I parked and displayed my blue badge and as getting it my car a Tesco worker drive into the disabled space opposite me and didn't display a badge.

My partner questioned why they had boards up asking for only blue badge holder to park in the disabled spaces and he ignored him.

When we went into store my partner asked the security who he was as he had parked in one of only 10 disabled spaces without a badge they exclaimed 'he's the big boss and is entitled to park there'

Whilst walking around store we bumped into the 'big boss' and he said what does a disabled person need a bigger space for anyway, your just all lazy' :0 :0 :0

I mean wtf right. We asked for his name and he said you don't need my name.

We dumped our shopping and walked away unwilling to give our custom to that particular discriminative store.

As we were walking out the security shouted over ' like you even disabled' I was walking unaided this evening dosed up of pregablin, co-codomol. We asked for the security guys info and they refused and converted there badges and said we were being racist to them.

We decided to get my blue badge from my car and complain to the duty manager.

Everything they said was recorded and apparently we will get a written apology. They also said they are working on getting more spaces for the disabled and stopping other people taking the spaces that are needed by the disabled.

But how do they expect to do that when there staff think they have the right to park there, they are just setting an example for people to ignore the parking rules and park there just like there staff. And a manager at that.

Sorry this is long I just needed to rant at how many ambulant disabled folk are discriminated against by professional workers in many places.
