My first IVF appointment

We are about to go to our first IVF appointment. We are both in our 40s and i have unexplained infertility, most likely due to my age. We had all the tests done, and tried 3 months on clomid to help boost my hormones at ovulation. Hate feeling disappointed... Is anyone in their 40s and have gone through IVF? I would love to hear your experiences. I'm nervous and excited. Looking forward to hearing from you!
