Lip tie ?

Hey everyone, 
I know it's bad but I'm a FTM and always on Google 😐.  So i came across this whole tongue tie/ lip tie article and now idk if my baby is lip tie. Can I see how your little one's inner lips look like ? Here is mine. (are they lip tied )? I'm going to the pedeatrician August 11th.

That's definitely a lip tie. My son had a lip and tongue tie, both corrected with minor, in and out no anesthesia "surgery" with a water laser at a dentist. It was identified by my lactation consultant and the reason I was there was for feeding issues and resulting severe nipple damage... 😫 so I opted for the procedure because breastfeeding was/is very important to me and the ties were impacting that. The procedure helped my baby get a deep latch and issues subsided. Anyway. Your pediatrician will give you some guidance but I'd say not necessarily every baby needs anything done but some can cause speech and dental issues down the road and it was easier and less damaging to correct on a little one as opposed to an older child

My daughter had tounge tie. We found out when she was about 2 weeks old. All I had to do was call a pediatric dentist and get it cuz but she ended up having to have surgery for pyloric stenosis so while she was under they just clipped it and she never cried that it hurt r had trouble eating. It wasent bad at all

If it is a lip tie, it's a quick snip and it its corrected. My daughter had a tongue tie and they fixed it in office. You'll have to do some "exercises" for a few weeks to keep it from regrowing. Basically sweeping a finger along the inside of the lip. Super easy.

That looks like a lip tie to me. My lo had both a lip and tongue tie.  We had them corrected because they can cause issues later down the road.

If that's a lip tie then my 3 month old has one too. Hasn't caused any problems so I'm leaving it alone
