Really depends on where you were pre-pregnancy. I gained almost 20 pounds my first trimester and my doctor had no concerns. I was pretty lean and muscular pre-pregnancy. Now I'm nearing the end and I have racked on 65 lbs. doctor still isn't concerned. Most of it is water retention. Talk with your doctor about your weight gain concerns. If they aren't worried I wouldn't stress. Every woman's body responds differently during pregnancy ☺️

Thats a better question for your doctor. It all depends on your pre-pregnancy weight, any underlying conditions, single vs multiple baby/babies, and your overall weight gain goals. Most women typically gain the most weight towards the end so if your goal is to gain little to no weight then the answer would be no. If you were underweight and you are basically wanting to gain as much as possible then the answer would be yes. Its not really a clear cut black anf white type of answer, theres too many variables.
