I don't know how many people actually watch AGT but tonight I saw Jon Dorenbos preform, but before he did he told about his childhood. About how when he was 12 years old his father murdered his mother and was sentenced to 13 years in prison. Luckily after a custody battle his aunt adopted him and his sister, but I almost started crying because it hit so close to home. My mom attempted to kill my dad when I was 10 years old. If she would have succeeded I would have lost my dad forever and also my mom for a very long time. It's just so scary that if she wouldn't have been stopped that would have been my story. And there wouldn't have been anyone to adopt my brother and I. We would be been foster kids 😭 This is also the first time I've put my story out there. It just hurt so much basically hearing what could have been my story coming from someone else.
