Exchanging unopened formula?

Can I exchange unopened formula at target, Walmart, or babies r us? I need to switch to gentle ease or soy for my baby.

I just had the same issue with formula, I have 4 cans of infant formula but I had to switch to gentlease, I went to the grocery store I bought it at (got the cans on 8/1) and I was told I could not exchange or return it, I would just call around and see, it doesn't hurt to ask, hope this helps!
