I had my Glucose test done on Wednesday & let me just say it went terrible! The drink wasn't that bad until closer to the bottom it was so sugary and I only had 5 minutes to drink the whole thing so it made me feel a tiny bit sick to my stomach for a few minutes. Then they called me to a room for my normal check up and I also got my Tdap vaccine. They had me go back out to the lobby to sit and I started feeling like I was going to pass out! I had to lay down on the bench with my head in my SO lap while I fanned myself with some paper. I just couldn't cool down and I wasn't allowed to drink water so I felt terrible. After the rest of the wait, around 45 minutes they had me go back to a room to draw some blood and I had to lay down in a big recliner and still be fanned off and given a wet rag. After sitting for a little bit I needed to run into babies r us & within us being in there not even 15 minutes I had to sit in the floor 5 different times, almost passing out. I ended up having to be taken to the car in a wheelchair because I was sweating so bad and couldn't walk. Once I finally got home I just slept for a while and all the next day I still felt sickly, plus my arm was super sore from the shot! Now everything is making me very easily sick to my stomach. The dr hasn't called me yet so I'm guessing I passed. I don't do well with getting shots and getting blood taken plus I didn't get to eat anything so it made it all much worse!!
