Just because I know a lot of people like starting drama about simple posts on here, I wanted to post what I read. I love all the opinions on here! I'm not convinced that it's try but the University of Washington did a study. The scientists compared 2,110 pregnant women who were hospitalized with morning sickness in their first trimester and a control group of 9,783 women who did not get severely ill. They found that the women in the first group were more likely to deliver a girl, and that those who were the sickest — hospitalized for three days or more — had the greatest odds: an increase of 80 percent compared with the control women.

Im 23 weeks and have never had morning sickness. No nausea, no heartburn or reflux. No acne or anything. I'm having a girl.

I'm confused about those who picked "the study is bogus." It was a real scientific study, Trinity posted the details and you can read about it. The study said women carrying girls were MORE LIKELY to have severe morning sickness than those with boys. Not that every single woman with a girl had HG while every women with boys had no sickness. It's as though a study reported that people over 6 feet tall are more likely to be men than women and you're disagreeing because you personally know some tall women or short men!

Had really bad morning sickness with my daughter. Didn't ease up until 2 days post delivery.

Pregnant with a boy now, it's just as bad, if not worse. I'm 31 weeks and still have constant sickness

I wouldn't say it's worse but it lasts longer for me. My boys I was just as sick but only for a couple of weeks. My girls sick from beginning  until 20 weeks and then off and the rest of my pregnancy.
