How much frozen milk?

How much frozen milk does everyone have stocked up? I'm exclusively pumping! Knowing I'm going back to work in two weeks 😞I have started a stock pile. I have 54- 4 ounce bottles ready to go! YaY

I try to keep ~20 oz in reserve.  The childbirth educator who runs the parent group I attend pointed out that freezing too much might not be a good thing.  One, if power is lost (which happens here a lot in the Northeast) then all that milk is ruined.  Two, Breastmilk changes its' composition based on the needs of your baby so it is not optimal to give your 6 month old milk you expressed when s/he was 2 months old.  I try to use my frozen milk within a month and then replenish it as needed.

I've had probably 300 or more oz. I nurse my baby plus I pump to feed another baby.

I think I have about 60 oz. Not a lot but I wasn't really working too hard on building a stash so I was just pumping here and there. Now that I'm back to work I can hopefully get at least 100 oz extra stored just in case

I'm exclusively pumping too, I have just over 500oz now. My supply has increased recently where I freeze at least 12oz a day. I'm a stay at home mom though so I never use the frozen milk and will probably donate. At the same time it's nice to have for emergencies!

I was just about to ask the same question! But I nurse and pump. I work at a daycare and my baby is at the center during the day but in a separate room so I nurse her when I can and pump when I can't. Since I only nurse on weekends whatever I pump on Fridays and if any left from Thursday I freeze. I'm curious how much is enough? I'm running out of freezer space

I have maybe 40oz stored and I'm not pumping. I have these things called lacti cups and they collect my let downs. I can get anywhere from 5-7oz a day just with my let downs. My so gives my son a small bottle (1.5 oz) before bed to get him used to a bottle for when I return to work next month. And even with this night time bottle I always maintain the same amount stored. This way none of my milk is more than a few weeks old.

I only pump when I'm at work to store for the next day I work. I pumped for about a week, once a day to get a stock pile before I returned to work. I have about 75 oz. I don't pump any extra unless I'm going somewhere and leaving baby with daddy. I hate pumping so I'd rather nurse instead when I can.

I over produced where I'm pretty sure I never have to pump again. I have around 3,000 oz in my freezer and a gallon of fresh expressed in the fridge for night time feedings.
