I'll be getting my first depo shot in 4 days.. do they put metal tongs up your vigina?

No... You shouldn't be getting it if you know nothing about what they're injecting into your body

Please do some research on your chosen birth control method so you know what's in it and how you get it.

The only reason you'd have "tongs" put in your vagina is if you're having a pap smear, in which your doctor uses a metal speculum to open up your vagina, or you're having an IUD placed, in which a speculumn is used to open up your vagina again, and a metal tool is used to hold your cervix in place.

they don't put anything in your vagina. they will ask you SO SO many questions. and then they'll make you take a pregnancy test, and then you can get it in your arm or butt check, I get it in the butt check because you have more muscle there so it works better
