Very heavy first period

Anyone else get their first real period pp and it was super heavy? I am 10w pp and feel like i am bleeding to death! This happened also after I had a uterine septum removed for a couple of months to the point of being afraid to leave the house and went away coincidentally when i had antibiotics for something else, so i assumed maybe the dr didnt realize it was some type of infection. Now im wondering if that was a coincidence and i will have it again like that for a few months? ugh!
