Caution.. TMI post .. I really am sorry

Ladies, I'm 35 weeks and 3 cm dilated as of Friday.. Is this a mucus plug?! This didn't happen with my daughter 10 years ago.. Was having contractions last night kind of sparatically and then this morning I feel like I'm on my period.. very crampy.. Don't wanna rush to the hospital if here is no need. Advice please ..
