Spotting on Period

Hi! So, I'm a 19 year-old college student. I've been having my period for about 6 years or so. I am on birth control because of the (past) irregularity of my periods. Typically, I don't spot when I am not on my period. I just became sexually active in January. I had sex with my partner a few weeks ago, and I just started spotting today. (I am not on my period now.) Should I worry? I'm also taking an oral typhoid vaccination because I will be going out of the country soon. I just don't know how I should proceed. Thanks!
