Will breastfeeding always be this hard?

He latches and my milk has came in. But breastfeeding still Stresses me out SO MUCH. I don't like the pressure it has and the fact that at night it's all up to me. I randomly cry throughout the day. I know it's probably baby blues but will my anxiety for breastfeeding continue. I've already told my husband I want to formula feed and he gets mad. I know pumping is an option but w/ working full time I dint know! :(

I totally understand that feeling! It was ALOT of pressure on me from everyone including my fiancé. I was in pain and almost crying during it. I started exclusively pumping then putting him on my breast when I felt up to it. After that it just fixed itself and he latched perfectly! Now breastfeeding is SO easy. Everyone said it would get easier and I honestly couldn't believe them. I'm glad I stuck it out because feeding at night and during the day is quick and easy. Try pumping and bottle feeding him and when you feel up to it try to get him to latch on. Also the older babies get the better they get at breastfeeding, so those stressful and painful 30 min sessions will be a thing of the past! It takes my 2 month old 5 minutes to get full now! It's definitely worth it in the end but try not to stress out about it. If it doesn't work out then formula won't hurt the baby! You need to be happy and healthy for baby too!

I totally understand how you feel! It does get easier but the stress of breastfeeding is just piling on me now. My daughter is 4 months and she always wants to eat and when she's fussy or tired she pulls on and off the nipples crying and it's frustrating and stressful I get so upset all the time and I cry too :( lately my nipples just hurt all day. I just feel like a lay around allday and feed her. And she won't take a bottle she hates them so not even my fiancé can help me out. I understand breast is best and there are so many healthy benefits to it which is why I want to continue doing it, I should be happy I'm able to breastfeed my child but there's times where I have thought about switching to formula too. You should get a say in it too if you want to switch, you need to be happy and take care of yourself too!

It will get easier but that feeling of stress and anxiety never went away for me. I started formula this week bc of it. (I gave it 2 months and that feeling never went away.)

It can take a few weeks or a few months to get the swing of it. It's totally worth it if you can stick with it.
