Racism

I have 4 mixed kids with the same man. We are not married and he is gone right now 99% of the time launching a new business. He is barely able to keep himself afloat right now so I hold everything down for us. I work a lot of hours to support my kids and they go to a daycare. Tonight after an extremely long day my 6 year old daughter told me that she's scared to go to sleep because another kid at daycare told her that if Donald Trump is elected president he will kill all black people!  I called her dad and asked him to talk to her, but of course he was in meetings and couldn't take the time to talk to her. He says he will talk to her but I have a feeling it will just go unaddressed if I leave it up to him. I'm looking for advice on how to address the topic with her that's age appropriate. I talked to her about rumors and not spreading information that you don't know to be true. But I really didn't know how to address the issue of racism with her. I haven't experienced racism like she will. Any words of wisdom would be much appreciated. We live in a small town in Ohio that is not extremely diverse. I hate that my babies have to endure this and I will always do my best to educate them and protect them!
