Gender Reveal.... Did you know before?

If you did or are doing a gender reveal are you going to find out before the party? I am doing a small gender reveal for my moms family and was going to find out at my ultrasound but people are telling me that I'm not supposed to know before. But I'm not doing the reveal for me I'm doing it for them. I'm having my mom and sister cut the cake.....

Me and my fiance knew before and the gender reveal was for our daughter and the photos we got taken of it was to announce to the whole family through that.

We kinda already know but are going to find out for sure at our next ultrasound and then will be doing a fairly large reveal for family and close friends a week after. We didn't like the idea of finding out with everyone else, I think it's kind of a private thing for us.

I did a reveal yesterday and found out at the reveal, my mom and SO mom knew so they could set everything up and when we popped the balloon we found out what we're having, it was defenitely worth it.

My SO and I are finding out at our ultrasound next Wednesday. Then we're going to do a small reveal party Sunday for family. It's really up to you. I was on the fence about it at first but my boyfriend said he'd rather it just be us finding out because he said he might get emotional and he doesn't want the whole family seeing that lol. Which I respect his wishes.

We knew, found out in the room at anatomy scan and party was a few days later. I'd heard so many horror stories of bad reactions at the gender reveal I wanted to make sure I had control over myself. I was happy either way with Gender but it's just such an emotional thing I wanted to make sure my reaction was one I wanted!
