Hunting while pregnant?

I know this probably isn't a question for everyone but do any of u ladies hunt and if so is anyone bowing hunting this season? I plan to but our season doesn't start till October 1st by then I will be 6 months! I'm worried about sitting out and having to pee all the time! Lol

You should be fine just make sure you have plenty of water and rest and somewhere to pee make a pee bucket with a big giant bucket and a toilet seat also clear it with your dr just to be on the safe side

I was cleared to hunt with my first but he decided to make his arrivle ten weeks early and two days before we left to go and this year I'm high risk and can't make the six hour trip😕 but as long as your doctor has no problem with it go for it momma! Wobble to that tree stand and get you a monster😋

I'm a huge hunter. But I just don't think it'll be possible this year, so weird not to be buying my license with the rest of my family. I'll be in my 7th month during hunting season and I just know I wouldn't fit in any of my camo, and I'm not comfortable with pulling back a 25 pound bow with being that pregnant, and definitely not shooting a rifle. I might just go out and sit with my grandpa though just to get out. This will be the first year I'll miss our families annual black bear hunt too. But where we go is literally in the middle of no where (no tv, cell phone reception, nothing within 30+ miles); and I'm just too worried to even go just to sit in the cabin because of an emergency happened I wouldn't even be able to call an ambulance. It sucks, but one year won't kill me, plus I'll have many years to go hunting with my baby!

I would check with your doctor. Everything I've seen is that pregnant women shouldn't go hunting for a couple reasons. The lead exposure and sound waves generated by the gun can be damaging to the baby.

My last pregnancy my doctor said that hunting/shooting guns is just fine while pregnant. I ended up not hunting though because it was absolutely freezing that year! Lol

Ask your doctor first and do some research. There are possible issues with lead poisoning and also baby's hearing issues if you're farther along than 13-15 weeks. Data is inconclusive though....
