My periods 16 days late and I've taken a test and it says I'm not pregnant what should I do

I took it 4 days after my due date for my period and I didn't take plan b

When did you take the test? Most of the time you'll get a positive from the moment you've missed your period.(often times slightly before too)

If you took it at 16 days late. It's most likely a negative. You could get your doctor to do a blood test if you wanted.

It's most likely late due to stress or change in diet. 
Sometimes it's as simple as our bodies just being weird! 
I wouldn't worry too much until your period is 3 months without showing up. In which case you should talk to your doctor about what to do from there

Have you taken plan b? Are you on BC? After taking plan b, I was 2 weeks late but tested negative on pregnancy tests.
