Mine felt like a tingling/pins&needles sensation, honestly was not the most pleasant feeling in the beginning. Didn't hurt, just uncomfortable. Idk if I got used to it, or it went way, but now I just feel pressure when I have a let down.

When your milk flows/fills up either while nursing or when it is time to nurse. It feels like little needles coming down. Mine is pretty tender for a few seconds. It's pretty cool though because it lets you know when it's time for baby to eat.

A let down is when your milk starts coming out. It can happen when the baby's sucking, while pumping or hand expressing, or even just randomly throughout the day. Some women feel it and others don't. I only feel it when suction is applied and they start spraying, and not the little leaks throughout the day. It's so hard to explain what it feels like. You know that feeling of unease or anxiety you get in your tummy? It feels kinda like that, but in your nipples, I guess? Like pressure releasing, which is nice, but also quite different and uncomfortable.
