Head in pelvis

So I went to doc Monday and had ultrasound. The baby's head is in my pelvis, can see eyes down, forehead and top of head completely in pelvis. Baby is also weighing in at 5lb 3oz. Was wondering if this means baby is engaged? Doctor told me hip pain was from him being that low in pelvis. He did not check me yet. I have not packed hospital bag or anything. Should I be getting nervous and ready? Do you think I'm getting close, according to my weekly email after baby dropped and in pelvis usually 2-4 weeks left. This is my 2 baby
