The Magic Table
My LO will be one month old tomorrow and has been such a great and easy baby so far (knock on wood 😁). But...like all babies, he has his fussy moments when the diaper has been changed, the belly is full, and all should be content, but isnt. The first few times this happened I rocked, bounced, sang, etc etc...with absolutely no luck. Then, it happened again and I began the routine (walk, rock, bounce repeat repeat) but this time I just so happened to circle around a small table in our front sitting room. MAGIC. He instantly calmed down and started looking around. Within minutes he was asleep. I thought it was a lucky fluke until...it kept happening. Again and again. He would fuss, I would circle the table, he would sleep. Now at almost a month old anytime he is fussy for no apparent reason, I circle the table and he sleeps.
I just find it so interesting the quirky things our babies do/like. Does anyone else's LO have/do something that seems to work like a charm everytime? I'm curious what other tricks all of you mommies have up your sleeves to get your LO calm when the usual things don't work.
