When is the best time to have a baby shower? I read an article which stated that 4 to 8 months is the best time to have a baby shower. Ladies please explain why you chose a specific month.

I say 7 months because your in your third trimester, you will most likely know the gender and it gives you plenty of time to purchase items that you didn't get, put things together and wash the clothes received. Also gives you time to return doubles and write thank yous

I want to do mine at 7months just because I won't be to heavily pregnant at that point so I could enjoy it more.

I wish I had mine earlier. I was 32 weeks and couldn't even enjoy it because it was hot and I'm huge!

I think 7 months but personally will do mine at almost 8 months due to Christmas being a fortnight after my 7 months months. Mid-December shower wouldnt be great timing.

I'm having my first one Saturday (29+5) and my second one next week at 30+6. It'll be perfect for us so we can buy what wasn't purchased at the shower, and be prepared. My husband is in school so we wanted them earlier so we didn't feel rushed.
