Rape. Is it ever okay to be raped?
Hello ladies, this is a very sensitive topic but needs to be addressed and we need to learn from each other. I was having a debate with friends earlier on and will like to hear your thoughts? Is it rape when a husband sleeps with his wife without her approval even though "her body is his" in terms of marriage? Secondly, do women who dress provocatively deserve to be raped because apparently "they brought it on themselves"? I do not agree with any of these and like I said, it was a topic of debate where my male friends shared their views on why these two instances were "ok".
I myself I am a victim of rape. I was raped at 16/17. I was raped by someone I stupidly met online and he took my virginity. He appeared to have been in his thirties. I Was afraid to tell anyone and I felt like it was my fault for agreeing to go to the house of someone I met online. I wish I could set my eyes on the bastard again!
