When to start the room

I got the urge to start cleaning out our baby's future closet this evening. The room is fully decorated for a guest still, I just wanted to get junk out of the closet. I'm only 6 weeks, is it normal to do those sort of things now, or am I weird?

Congrats! anytime you feel is right is right! I had an early loss with my first pregnancy, so I wanted to be out of the woods before we did too much this time. After my 20 week anatomy scan, we got the furniture for the nursery and set it up.
