Adoption or abortion?

Question

If someone wants to have an abortion why don't they just have the baby and then put the baby up for an adoption or something like that. I mean I have been trying to have a baby for 7 years now and I haven't yet. It just makes my heart cry and hurt.

I had an abortion and I do not regret it for one moment even though I am TTC now. I was in an abusive relationship and he was very abusive to his children from a past relationship (he was also abusive to their mom). I couldn't stand to carry his child, especially knowing what he would do to it. Every woman has a story. If they keep it, give it up for adoption, or abortion...every woman has her reasons and should be respected for them. We don't have to hear the reasons to respect them.

Because a lot of them don't want to be pregnant, not just not wanting to have a baby. Adoption doesn't stop that part of the process 
I've never had an abortion and have been TTC for almost a year so I get that seeing people who don't want their pregnancy hurts but adoption is not always the answer. Sometimes abortion is what they need to do for themselves.

I think for some women, the thought of putting another baby into the world of adoption is awful. There are about 51,000 children placed into adoption every year; and on any given day, 415,000 children in foster care. There are so many children that need loving and caring homes. Putting another child into that situation seems wrong to some.

Its a personal decision. Take it from someone who has had to face these decisions. I cant carry a baby to full term without going through a lot of medical procedures and if i were to get pregnant at a time where its inconvinient, id abort. Some ppl, its a religious thing and they dont want anyone to know that they were pregnant. And its also really hard to carry and bond with a baby only to give it away.

I've been trying for a long time to have a baby but I am fine with people having an abortion if that's what is best for them. I kinda feel like a lot of people who have been TTC for a long time don't understand the irony of basically saying 'there are unwanted children in care but I'm trying to have my own baby because that is my personal preference, but if you get pregnant I get to decide what you do with it'. There are so many babies in care, I for one could never put a child into the system.
