Possibly tmi - photo of possible dry socket?

Question

So I'm 16 weeks pregnant & can't take any meds for the pain and it's killing me. 
I'm not sure if it's dry socket. Got tooth pulled Wednesday its now Friday and the pain seems to have gotten a little worse. It was fine yesterday... In the hold it has the little tiny blood clot I can see but around it is Greyish, white can't rlly tell what color stuff. The pain hurts.....& it feels like it's in my ear. 
Ugh please help........

If you're breath smells really bad and it's incredibly painful call your dentist.  It will only get worse...and  dry socket is horrible.  It's better to have it looked at anyway.  
(I'm a Dental assistant) they won't give you treatment that isn't ok for pregnancy (it is a clove dressing) but trust me it won't go away.

Your dentist also should have told you not to drink from a straw or anything that would cause you to suck. It helps prevent dry sockets.

Since it's Friday, you should call your dentist just in case so you're not worried or in pain all weekend. If it is a dry socket they have some clove stuff they use for it I believe. Better to be safe than sorry! I hope you feel better soon.

You can take Tylenol. It's safe to take while pregnant. Keep trying to drink fluids and moisten up the area. If pain persists, call your dentist and tell them about your concerns!
