Finding a daycare with an uncooperative husband

Megan
Need to vent: I am pregnant with my and my husband's first child and I'm due in January. We were both lucky enough to have stay at home moms when we were young so don't have a lot of experience with daycares. Where we live (Northwest Omaha, NE), the good daycares tend to fill up fast. I've been doing research for over a month now to try and find ones that are near our house, not ungodly expensive and that I can get good recommendations on. The problem is that my husband is not helpful at all! Every time I bring up daycares, he immediately gets irritated and reminds me of all the horror stories he's read about daycares and proceeds to tell me that the ONE I got him to tour, he didn't like. I finally found another one I'm wanting to tour but they don't have any openings until a month after I'm supposed to go back to work. When I told me husband, his response was "bummer." I just feel like I'm the only one thinking about our baby's well being once I go back to work. Obviously in a perfect world, one of us would get to stay home but unfortunately things would get extremely tight for us if we did that. I'm starting to get so stressed out about this and worry that of wet continue to wait, there will be no spots left at good locations and we'll be screwed. Any advice???
