36+6 weeks;sharp pain in pelvic bone?

Okay, so as the title says, I'm going to be 37 weeks tomorrow. I've been having a bruise-ish kind of feeling in my actual vagina for about 3-4 days now. But today, actually like 30 minutes ago, it was almost hard to walk because right at my pelvic bone area, I had a SUPER sharp pain? Didn't know if any of you ladies knew what was causing this? I'm a FTM. Haven't been told the estimated length or weight of my little girl, and I haven't been checked to see if she's head down or not. Idk when all that's supposed to be told. But MAN did that hurt.

•Taking a bubble bath right now to ease some of my aches.

Baby is getting your body ready to come out. Imagine your pelvis and that lower area before there was a baby pushing on it and gravity pulling down. Now imagine what that pelvis area has to do to get ready for a 6-9lb baby to come out. There's stretching and pressure going on and your body isn't used to it. That's all. Could also be lightning pain. Which is the same thing

36 weeks tomorrow and I had the SAME thing out of no where yesterday.

Apparently baby is 85% effaced. Which basically means that she is 85% in position for birth. All those sharp pains is her being at max capacity and basically headbutting my cervix and hitting those nerves something fierce.

My doctor put me on bed rest until I am 37 weeks because they don't deliver babies sooner than that.

But it was just my babies was of saying she is getting ready to come out. I am also dilating so that adds to the pain.

I would let your doctor or midwife know just to get a sense of how you are progressing!!

With my second, I had this pain starting at 17 weeks Bc she was sooo low and I felt like I could pop her right out.

This is not and indication necessarily of labor Bc like I said, I was 17 weeks when it started but in most cases it means you are either carrying low or baby has dropped

Totally normal, and for some girls it last a lot longer. Mine was only for a day then like weeks and weeks later it did it again and I haven't felt it again until today, but this time was different it was a sharp pain in the back right side of my hip which is still from the same thing. It's just the ligament pain you're feeling.
