Braxton hicks ?

How far along were you when you started experiencing Braxton hicks ? When do they normally come along?

What do they feel like ? (FTM so I also have no idea what contractions feel like yet ..)

This is my second pregnancy so they started a bit earlier than with my first. Mine started at about 20 weeks. It feels like your stomach is tightening, your stomach gets very hard for a few seconds and then relaxes.

I got my first one during my 19th week. I had no idea what was happening so I went to the doctor and he told me they were Braxton hicks! It feels like your belly tightens up and gets rock hard. At 24 weeks I get them all the time now. They're not painful, just uncomfortable at the most.

My first pregnancy I had no Braxton Hicks contractions. Not everyone will experience them- I went into labor on my due date and had NO idea how bad it was going to be because I never had a single contraction of any sort beforehand. It's always good to be on the lookout for them, though!

Mine started about 18-19 weeks...just feels like I have rock hard abs 😝(if only...lol...) your belly just tightens up, but it's not painful (at least not yet).
