Is testing at 8DPO to early!?

Help please! Is taking a hpt at 8dpo far too early? In my 2ww and it's killing me so I tested this morning and got a bfn! :(

Yes! I took one that day when I was having bad back cramps and it was negative. Took a test 3 days later and got my positive. So just wait another 3 days or at least 2-3 days before your period to test.
