Could I be in labor?
Late last night I started to have a backache, then would randomly get sharp pains in my vagina. I let it go for a good chunk of the day, however when I started to have more mucusy discharge (sometimes tinged pink sometimes not) I called my dr to see what to do. Dr said it was most likely Braxton hicks and to get a warm bath, take Tylenol, and relax.
I had been (and still am) timing the pains.. They are anywhere from 5-9 minutes apart, and last from 20-40 seconds. They have not increased in intensity, however it's been 24 hours since they started, and almost 12 since I called the dr.
Could these be labor pains I'm feeling? Or normal pre labor pains?
