I actually using a manual better, even with my hand cramping up at times. I was able to get more milk. But that's just what I liked, it could be different for you. Maybe if your insurance covers the electric, buy a simple manual one too and just see how it goes.

I tried manual with my first cause electric is more expensive, but hated it! Hand cramps like crazy. I've never tried the electric one, but am getting one through my insurance
