I have mine for gender on the 7th.. I paid $29 because I found the place the same place I went at 10weeks (to see heartbeat) on groupon.

I googled ultrasound centers near (city) and all the elective placed popped up. I went at 15w+1 for a 2d gender reveal ultrasound. I paid $95 (because we are having twins and they doubled our ultrasound time) It's normally $75 for 15 minutes and we got a cd with all the images, a print out of our 9 favorite images and a goody bag for going.

I keep seeing people ask about these ultrasound places. I'm feeling really grateful that my midwife gives me an ultrasound at every visit and records each one on a DVD and gives us pictures, at no extra cost. I've had this with all 3 of my children and I'm so used to it now that if something changed, I'd definitely pay for a few extra ultrasounds!

We are out side of Philadelphia and the place by us is doing a gender scan at 16 weeks for 49$

I requested mine from my doctor. They did a transvaginal and an abdominal for my viability and dating scan.  I just got the insurance claim on it and it said the visit was about $650 and I was responsible for $250 of it. Not sure how much each was separately, but not cheap.

Look for a place that does 3D/4D ultrasounds they will probably do 2D as well that doesn't go thru insurance. Here it's $75 before 16 weeks and $100 after
