About to get Married, never had anything up there.

So. Wedding is T-minus 3 weeks away. We've waited to have sex. Thing is, I've never masturbated. Never watched porn. Not because it wasn't allowed or I was told not to do it, but because I legitimately have never been interested in either. (despite growing up in a Christian home, my mother encouraged body ownership and self exploration. I just never wanted to.)Never done tampons either.

I understand the premise of sex, and I now do want to experience it with my future husband. I just don't understand the timing. How do you know it's time for penetration? After a certain amount of foreplay, you stick it in, right? How do you know when that is? Is there a sign or something?

In any case, we will both be taking sex slowly, and work our way up to that, but this is one question that has been bugging me for a while.
