he left her for me?

so we hooked up while he still had a girlfriend (they had been having issues but he didnt want to break up with her because he was so close to her family) and it was pretty heated. a week later they broke up and we had already been talking for a while so that was all good but he started talking to me ALL the time, he was calling me baby and hunni and all that stuff. so its been 4 or so weeks later and we met up and went for walk and again things got heated again. he is the first guy i have done anything with and i really like him but i have no idea if i should ask him whats going on with us or anything. he also told me that he really liked me and felt attracked to me so yeah idk
