Why is that that when you're talking to someone and then y'all finally hang out and both of y'all have a good time, and then the next day, that person acts like you don't exist?

They might just be awkward. I'm a very socially awkward person and the day after the night my husband kissed me for the first time, I couldn't even look at him because I was just so self conscious (I was almost 18 and it was my first kiss). But as soon as I got home and wasn't around him anymore, I texted him and apologized. I was way more comfortable talking on the phone. Try texting this person and asking why they were distant. But don't give up on them if you like them! Try not to be confrontational either. For example instead of just asking "why were you distant" try phrasing it like "is everything okay? I noticed you seemed a little distant/quiet/whatever other word you want to use"

I'm so glad my husband didn't decide from my nervousness that I wasn't "worth his time". We're married now and trying for our first baby. None of that would have happened if he had looked at my shyness and said "it means she's not worth my time"
