Birth, exclusive breastfeeding, and period. When did you get yours back?

Nicole

So I'm wondering how long it took you ladies to get your period back after you gave birth???? I gave birth on 6/29/16 and I am breast feeding my little girl. She's 6 and 1/2 weeks old and I just got mine today.....my doctor said it usually takes months when you're breastfeeding (I'm not supplementing at all and I'm producing more than 40 ounces a day...) annnnd to boot I'm on the pill again, 6 days in (no estrogen because that can and will reduce milk supply they keep you on it until you start introducing solids to your baby) and that being said....normally periods come at the end of your pill packet.

Exclusively breastfeeding (and pumping at least 15+ounces a day and as much as 20 ounces on occation)

6&1\2 weeks postpartum

6 days on the birth control pill

And period is here for sure.....cramps and all

So when did you get yours back???

Also might be good to mention, last year I was pregnant and found out in june, miscarried on August 17th, and got my period back on September 24th. (I was told to wait to try again until I got my period, they later told me they expected it to take 3 months as is the norm for miscarrying to get period back according to the Dr.) had implantation bleeding which I thought was a miscarriage again in October but did a dating scan to find it was just implantation bleeding but the date of being conceived was September 26th. 2 days after I got my period. (Dr says I am most likely very fertile?) so now, about same time in between those two things and period about same time. Thoughts on that as well?
